What is Corporate Yoga?

Corporate yoga is simply yoga brought into your workplace. I can teach at any level from beginner to advance. However, I do keep in mind the sweat factor and returning to the office looking fresh! I have been teaching corporate yoga for a couple of years, and witnessing the benefits of utilizing a “lunch break” hour for the ultimate self-care is astounding. My corporate clients are by far the most appreciative of the benefits of moving their bodies and quieting their minds. Sitting at a desk all day can wreak havoc on the body, let’s undo some of that and get things moving.

What are the benefits of bringing yoga to my business?

To put it simply, the biggest benefit is happier, healthier employees. Allowing your employees the ease and access of on-site yoga takes away the excuses, and shows your employees that you truly care about their well-being. Yoga has been shown to boost the immune system, which can lead to fewer sick days and missed work. Concentrated deep breathing allows them to find some peace within their workday, and return to their desks feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle the tasks at a hand with a more focused mindset and a boost of energy from the increased blood flow.

What type of space needs to be provided?

You do not need a huge gym to offer corporate yoga. An open meeting room could do the trick! We can figure out space within the office to make it work, possibly even utilizing walls as part of our practice.

What about Corporate Meditation?

Corporate meditation is an amazing way to help your employees learn self-soothing techniques. I teach breathing tips that they can bring back to their desk with them and utilize when they’re feeling overwhelmed. Similar to yoga, after a meditation session at the office, employees feel relaxed and calm with a mindset to return to work with a deeper sense of concentration. I offer different types of meditation, from mindfulness to sound-based. We can adapt to fit your company’s needs.
